
The Student Councils
The student council is a group of students who are elected by the student body to serve as the voice of their fellow students in school affairs. Being part of the council gives students the chance to carry out being in service for others and to develop their leadership skills. Some of the specific roles of the student council include creating policies, organizing events and projects that are beneficial to the students, ensuring that student grievances are heard, and most importantly, representing the student population during meetings with the school authorities.
CENTRAL STUDENT COUNCIL (CSC)

The Central Student Council (CSC) is the student governing board of the University. The CSC shall act as the unifying and motivating force among the local student councils and of student activities related to them. Its focus is to promote the welfare of the students in line with the mission-vision of the University of Santo Tomas.

LOCAL STUDENT COUNCILS (LSCs)
Every Faculty, College, Institute, or School shall have an autonomous local student council (LSC). These LSCs enjoy fiscal autonomy and has a just share of funds provided in the constitution.

THE PRESIDENT
The president is the primary leader of the student council that is responsible for the effective functioning of the whole council. They serve as the representation between students and administration to address concerns regarding the school community. The role of the president is to assure the agendas and ideas of the council members through efficient communication and a dedication to service.
